You cannot go wrong at all buying these. They are affordable and go with everything. They for years been my go to shoe and I have bought this same shoe more times then I can count and will continue to buy them time and time again!!!!

My only complaint is they don't hold up well after a long time, it is the cheap glue they use. So I have to rotate, and that's easy when you have several pairs.

Not just this pair but the last three? Screw Vans I used to go to the little vans huts in the Valley when it was actually not just 3rd world sweat shop garbage

I've bought these same shoes and ones like them multiple times and they always hold out well over a year with daily heavy use. They are also pretty affordable, especially when they are on sale.

Good shoes, great for school and daily walk, very comfy once broken in.

As the titles says, this is the shoe that I remember from the 80's/90's (kids ask your parents). Some companies count on nostalgia to cover for the fact that they've cut corners on the quality of long lived products, but I'm happy to report that Van's isn't among them. The only reason(s) that I'm giving these a 4 instead of 5 star rating is that A.) The listed size of "11" feels a tad larger than that. Maybe more like a "11.5". That seems like a nitpick, but it does make a bug difference. And, 2.) They're not the sturdiest of shoes. I knew that of course, but I'd forgotten just how flimsy they are (not a quality issue, but an intentional design one). This is not a shoe for anything other than a trip to the store or the like. And as for skateboarding? I was more of a BMX kid myself, but how y'all wear these for anything sports related is beyond me. Props.

Need a pair of all black shoes for an upcoming commuter gig. Always have to come back Vans because they always have the colors and styles I like. I have bought so many Authentics over the years and will confide to do so. #sweepstakes

This shoe can be worn at a wedding, a dance, a concert, work around the house, anywhere because of the style & vibe that it has, its not aggressive, not messy, just a clean and natural looking show. its the perfect shoe in my opinion.

Since I stand on my feet all day, while not being allowed to sit, in a guest-driven industry, I wanted something comfortable yet stylish. More than anything, I wanted something that I could justify spending the money on. This shoe has not only met, but exceeded, those needs. With this shoe, I'm not only able to look cool while making minimum wage, but when I get to have my 30 minute unpaid break, I can keep wearing it while I skate to the nearest inexpensive food option. Vans are certified by the working class.

My new pair of OG Vans replaced my previous pair of the exact same shoe. My old pair were over a decade old. So when something perfect, why change. These are my go to daily show that works with everything I wear.
