The replacement is perfect and I was surprised to find the denim is lighter weight and much softer than my old one. Since I live in Arizona, this was a welcome discovery.

I’m not generally a fashion person but this is a true classic. I love it. My other one is from when I was a student in the early 1980’s. Still looks great but a new one was needed. Almost indestructible so it will outlive me.
