Just an update to a pair of Hurricane 25's. Great cushioning and support.

Great shoe for long runs

I did about 350 miles on my Hurricane 25’s and decided to give these a shot. I love these just as much if not more. Lighter weight, softer ride, nice support. I’m only at about 30 miles but they’ve felt great on every run.

My favorite combination of natural pronation and cushion

Hard edges, soft bottom
Originally posted on Saucony
Saucony kindly replaced a pair of Glides in which a hole had been worn in only a few weeks’ wear. The Hurricane seem to be made from the same material but haven’t yet ripped. The Hurricane’s sides are considerably harder than the Glide 18, making for a strong, balancing guardrail with far less give. This caused pronounced blood blisters on both heels. They are healing now, after bandages and socks. The best part is the sole, which has a cushy, rounded feel that leads forward with each step.

Not as billed
Originally posted on Saucony
Not happy with shoe. When I was younger and running was my main outlet or means of decomposing Saucony was my brand. After battling plantar fasciitis, I went to Hoka Bondi. The Hurricane is compared to the Bondi, but it fails to deliver the cushion, support and ride that is described. I would return the shoe, but will not return something after a single run

Light, bouncy, supportive

These things are amazing. I pronate and have flat feet. I’ve tried many other supportive shoes that promise support and protection and they have all failed to compete with this shoe. This shoe is light, bouncy, supportive, and stable. I love putting them on for basic mileage, easy runs, and long runs.

An all-around winner! Thanks for sharing your feedback.
Terrible "upgrade" that ruined a great line

The 25 and 26 ruined one of my favorite shoes for long training runs. I have used this line for more than a decade and now it feels like I am walking on stilts. These are not running shoes, they are platform shoes. They also did away with the great lacing system (ISO). Saucony has now killed another great running shoe. First the Mirage, then the Freedom, now the Hurricane.

Stability is an issue

Stability is really lacking in these shoes. I bought for cushioning, which is good, but I don't have the confidence on the road given lack of stability that I'm not going to fall.

Great sneakers for overpronators

The Saucony Hurricane has been a pleasant surprise. As an overpronator, I really appreciate the stability and cushioning it provides. I’ve been using my pair both for everyday wear at work and for my training runs, and they’ve performed extremely well in both situations. I love my pair, and my experience with the Hurricane has been excellent so far. Comfortable, supportive, and reliable.

Overall Very Supportive Shoe

I've had the Hurricane 24-26 and I think these are a really good shoe for running. I have flat feet and these really support my feet - I've NEVER had feet pain while running until they started to get worn out from mileage. They do tend to wear a little fast in my opinion though. If you have the 25's, make your next shoe the 26's and compare the two yourself - that's the best way to see if you like the shoe. Not a revolutionary shoe but overall great impression coming from a person who runs with bad feet!

I am happy to share that these are very nice shoes. They are light and also provide the added structure that I need. Example: I wore them on a day at an amusement park where I logged over 15,000 steps.

Weird taper, serious width issue

The midsole is great, shoe is very bouncy and yet stable, so I have nothing negative to say about that. The main issue with this shoe is the width. The shoe starts to taper very early, unlike any other shoe I have, leaving your pinky toes literally hanging outside the insole. I also tried the wide version even though I have narrow feet and never had a wide shoe before, but to no avail. This is to show you how much I tried to make this shoe work, sadly they didn't. Very poor design choice by the company.

Best stability shoe of 2026

Comparable to the superblast 3 to me but with added medial support. Foam is soft but still has some bounce to it. I will say it does make you feel “wedged” to the lateral side which helps to prevent pronation but if you don’t like that feeling make sure you try them on first

Tried to decide between the hurricane or triumph. Went with the hurricane and they are very comfortable the only downside is I have neutral gait and the shoe lifts my instep causes my my foot to roll out which takes some getting used to.
