I collected these from a local M&S food-only store (with a tiled floor) and unfortunately one fell when I was unwrapping the package - it shattered into several pieces. I haven't yet used or washed the mugs but they seem fairly robust. I would have preferred ones with a wider base so that they don't easily tip over, but these are quite stable. It would be nice to have four with a small motif on each to differentiate them so that people don't get confused which is their own mug, but I understand these would probably be more expensive. The ones I purchased seem value for money.
