I have purchased these before because they are fine & soft so I can wear them under a second pair of socks in very cold weather as I have circulation issues in one foot. However, if you want a sock to last, this isnt the one. I have to replace them every winter. They pill after a handful of wears and by the end of winter, they are threadbare. They do however, wash well. Like so much merchandise sold at M&S, the quality has deteriorated over the years. I would gladly pay a bit more for something of better quality.

Lovely selection of neutral colours in socks. I get swollen ankles very easily but these are really comfortable. The neutral colours mean they can go with anything and they have 2 cute ones with a bit of sparkle through them. Great price for 5 pairs. Wash very well too.

Soft socks which are nice quality though quite thin. However, neither the photo nor the description showed/mentioned the pink and blue pairs are sparkly which was disappointing.
