Ordered both of these and went up a size after reading the reviews as I wanted to wear a thin jumper underneath. Talk about shock as a size 8/10 I couldn’t even do the zip up on a size 12. Had to reorder size 14! and even they’re snug and a regular is right above my knee (I’m 5’2”) so my normal short would have been too short. Utterly ridiculous!!! Im absolutely fed up of returning items I would definitely keep I’f the sizes were correct. This is a lovely dress to wear casually or dress up with a blouse and long boots as they do give you a lovely shape when you get the right size.

Great little dress. Lovely colour, quality fabric and feels really nice to wear. Very grateful to the other reviewers who mentioned the sizing; I'm a fairly standard size 10 and the size 12 I ordered fits me perfectly.

My cord mini shift dress was a lovely fine cord, beautiful colour and a very fitted style, I ordered the petite that came up a little more fitted than the regular, I tryed the burgundy colour in store. Loved it

The dress itself is lovely but the sizing is incredibly inconsistent. I bought a 10, it was too big so I returned it and bought an 8 which was way too small. I still really liked the dress so I decided to cut my loses and go back for the 10. I went into store and found two size 10s, tried both on. One was too big, the other fit perfectly. I’m glad I got there in the end but I’m not entirely certain it was worth all the faff.

Really wanted to love this and it does look beautiful on the hanger and it’s a nice quality material. Sadly I had to return as it was too snug around the middle in my usual size and in the next size up, it was massive everywhere else. I don’t think this is a true shift shape. Also the zip on the back is difficult to do up on your own . It would help to have one that you can thread a ribbon through to help with this. Great that the neck button is in the inside so that your hair doesn’t get caught up in it

Lovely material. Wanted a cord dress in this burgundy colour. Fits well. Went for a 14 rather than my usual 12 so I could wear jumper underneath in winter. Smart but casual for work

Bought in navy. Great fit, flattering, versatile dress. Regular length is spot on, not too short and not too long - am 5’5” Has the essential pockets and will get a lot of wear over the autumn and winter with tights, boots and a long sleeve top underneath. Tempting to buy the burgundy also but must resist!
