Pure Wool Collared Short Coat

The coat fits well and looks great quality. Not worn yet but I’m sure I will get lots of wear in winter.

I have been trying to find a warm winter coat for several years, but being 5’3” it is nigh on impossible. Although this coat is a regular size it fits beautifully and the pockets are in the correct position. An added bonus is the lovely colour.

I have worn this coat on a colder day and it is warm. It is made from a thick all wool material and the style (no revers) keeps out the wind and cold. I would say it is a straightforward style elevated with an overlarge collar. Lovely Jaeger monogrammed lining and a useful inside pocket and deep outside pockets. It seems true to size and for me a great purchase.

I’ve looked for lightweight short coat for ages and found most were shapeless and wool blends with little wool in them. This coat is perfect - well shaped, pure wool and lightweight. Fits perfectly. Good value even though quite expensive.

A well designed warm coat in a beautiful colour which can be worn casually or formally

A flattering blue in a sea of brown, which is a difficult colour to wear. The coat has proper sleeves, which are the right length for me and well positioned pockets. It is slightly tight across the bust when buttons are fastened, but since I rarely button a coat I can live with this. However, I would have given five points had the cut been a little more generous. It will allow a merino pullover to be worn with it but not a thicker one. Last year’s coats were large with dropped sleeves and acres of extra material, This year the cut is much sparer but I appreciate the return of fitted sleeves.
