I had to return because they were a bit too big. Wanted to reorder smaller size at at least the same price. They went up so I figured I'd use the 15% sent when I ordered. It wouldn't let me use. I guess I won't be ordering Vans.

Different from previous design. White squares are not white

I had these from years ago and I recently messed them up (still have them though) so wanted to get a fresh pair. I ordered them online and when they arrived I noticed the differences. The squares are not white. They are a cream color. And they have extra seams. I'm not sure if the extra fabric was to accommodate them being unisex but what really bothers me is the not white squares. Also, the tongue of the shoes isn't suede on the new versions but it was on the old version. The old skool design is comfortable to me and cool looking. Just don't get any checkered with white. Unless it doesn't bother you. I will be returning mine.
