I bought this cake for my son’s 16th birthday, and it was absolutely fantastic! The whole collection process was so easy and straightforward. The rainbow colours are incredibly vibrant, and the cake looks just as amazing in person as it does in the pictures. But the best part has to be the taste! The sponge is beautifully soft and delicious, the buttercream icing is gorgeous, and the hundreds and thousands on the outside add the perfect little crunch. Such a lovely combination of flavours and textures. A real showstopper that tastes every bit as good as it looks. Would definitely recommend!

Including the birthday boy this fed 15 children in total plus a few adults. It really depends on how you cut this cake but if you cut it correctly (there is a technique to slicing circular) you can certainly serve decent portion sizes for more than 12 people (not getting all the colour in each portion). This cake is perfect for anyone who enjoys a good rainbow cake and especially for younger children birthday parties. The cake was very tasty and not overly sweet. Some reviews suggested it is sickly sweet, I think these reviews might be referring to the icing which is the sweetest part of the cake (but not sickly sweet in my opinion). It was a perfect balance overall. I will certainly reorder this cake again and highly recommend it.
