[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great shoe that is super comfy and light. I was skeptical about this brand of shoe and the prices but they are definitely worth it! My new go to shoe from here on out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the shoes, they're comfy but I thought would get the shoe pictured which was white with gray on the side, but when they arrived, they were white with black on the side, regardless I like the shoes.

Unhappy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture for the White/Grey/Black is incorrect. The shoes look completely different in-person or needs an updated online picture. Wouldn’t have bought if this is how they look.

Revel 9

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my second pair of Brooks shoes. My first was Glycerin 22, which I love. I needed a cheaper pair just for work and am a little disappointed with their comfort. Bought the same size, and are a little wider and its tough to keep them from slipping.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the Revel 7 and owned two pairs. It felt grounded, connected, and supportive with a firm, stable ride. The Revel 9 feels like a completely different shoe. It’s so soft that it feels like walking on an overinflated beach ball, with far less support and stability. If you loved the Revel 7, don’t expect the Revel 9 to feel anything like it.

Comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Brooks are amazingly comfortable. I logged 4 miles my first day with these and I have to say I could have kept going for double my usual miles because it felt like I had extra spring in my steps. I usually have several days of break in time/wear however because of the firmness I actually had zero break in time. These are one of the best runners I have ever worn.

Do it all with the Revel9

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I think the Brooks Revel 9 is a solid all-around shoe, especially if you’re looking for one pair to handle a little bit of everything. I primarily used them for short 1–2 mile runs (both outdoors and on the treadmill), gym workouts, daily walks, and general wear. For running, the Revel 9 is comfortable and offers plenty of soft, supportive cushioning. The cushioning really shines during walks, where the shoe feels exceptionally comfortable. While they worked well for my shorter runs, I personally prefer a more running-specific shoe for dedicated training. The upper is breathable and kept my feet comfortable throughout my workouts and daily use. My only complaint is that the fit runs a little snug compared to my other Brooks shoes, and I own several pairs. It wasn’t uncomfortable, but I definitely noticed the difference. In the gym, the Revel 9 handled most workouts without any issues, including general strength training and conditioning. However, I wouldn’t recommend them for heavy deadlifts, squats, or overhead presses. The soft cushioning makes the shoe feel less stable under heavier loads, so a flatter training shoe is a better choice for those lifts. I also like the overall look of the shoe. It’s clean, versatile, and pairs well with both athletic and casual clothing. Considering the comfort and versatility, I think the Revel 9 offers good value for the price. It may not be the best at any one activity—aside from walking, where it really excels—but it’s a dependable option for anyone wanting one shoe that can comfortably handle running, gym sessions, and everyday wear.

Love these shoes but....

The color scheme is sharp ,the black laces with black tongue looks awesome, however keeping these shoes clean is challenging. When I unboxed these shoes I was intrigued by the texture of the shoe almost like a tight woven terry cloth unfortunately this material is not very stain resistant. If you're someone who can keep white shoes clean, you'll be fine, but I had to scrub these shoes after only a few days of wearing them. The picture shows the shoes drying in the sun after I cleaned the toe cage area which gets dirty quickly. The benefit of this material is that the breathability is fantastic, making them great summer shoes The blaze color pattern is eye-catching so I've gotten lots of compliments on these shoes. I'm going to make these shoes more of a casual wear summer shoe and not a trail running shoe just because I want them to stay clean and presentable.

Comfortable and durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very comfortable and breathable shoe. They feel nice and lightweight while still providing great support. I’ve worn them for daily running, working out at the gym, and just as everyday shoe and I have zero complaints. The toe box is nice and roomy and the shoe made quite durable. I will forever be a Brooks fan!

Revel in cool performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brooks Revel 9 is a lightweight, comfortable shoe that performs well for running, workouts, walking, and everyday wear. The cushioning feels a supportive, stable, and smooth (but not soft) ride. The engineered mesh upper is breathable, flexible, and offers a secure fit that stays comfortable during movement. It keeps my feet cool while providing enough structure for runs and gym sessions. I also like the clean, sleek design—it pairs easily with everyday outfits while still delivering solid athletic performance. Kudos to Brooks, the Revel 9 is a versatile shoe that balances comfort, style, and performance, making it a great value for the price.

solid everyday trainer, but not for muddy roads
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfort and cushioning for runs and workouts These were comfortable from the first run, with cushioning that sits between soft and responsive so road impact gets absorbed without the ride going mushy or flat underfoot, and the support held through the full stride on pavement. I normally use a wide shoe, but these fit surprisingly well for a non-wide sizing. Upper breathability and fit during movement The upper held my foot securely without slipping or hot spots across the midfoot, and the one fit detail is that the heel collar sits high enough to rub against bare skin, which ankle socks solved for me but anyone running in no-shows should expect contact at the back. Use across running, gym, and daily wear Solid on the ground for runs, but I used it for daily walking, as well as hitting the gym. Too much cushioning for doing leg day, but excellent for regular use inside as well as cross training. I was primarily road running and that’s where this shoe shines, but I wouldn’t take it far off trail. Look, feel, and value The shoe feels well-built and comfortable, and the only challenge I had was taking a white shoe in the mud and losing the new-shoe look after the first use. If appearance matters to you choose a darker shoe. These have taken decent mileage with no visible wear beyond dirt, which is the kind of longevity that justifies the cost.

Brooks have been my go to shoe for running/lifting because they’re comfortable, stylish and durable and these are BY FAR my favorite pair of Brooks I have ever owned. Outside of being appealing to the eye (which they always are) these are the lightest pair of Brooks I’ve ever owned. The light weight of the shoe makes you feel like you have nothing on your feet but the soft cushion and perfect fit keeps you comfortable and your foot and ankle feeling secure during activity. 10 out of 10 product and would highly recommend to anyone!
