878 Trainers

Looking for my first trainers at 81 I was have great difficulty as most seemed too narrow. In the New Balance shop the assistant suggested the 878s, but a size bigger than my shoe. Amazingly comfortable. Just love them. Shame they are not waterproof.

These trainers where bought for a recent family holiday and after wearing them to a theme park and on long walks I can honestly say they are extremely comfortable and reliable.

Good fit to size - solid construction - good buying experience

Very comfortable shoes, lightweight with cushioned sole, I’m size 9.5 Nike, size 10 adidas gazelle, the size 10 878 fit me perfectly, they wouldn’t have wanted to be any smaller. I really like them, just what I was looking for, my teenagers tell me they look good with jeans and shorts.

Okay quality really high up at the back, also they illuminate in the dark which if I’m totally honest is a bit embarrassing when I’m going out for a meal or to the pub and have to walk, look like a cats eye you find in the middle of the road. Will wear them in the car maybe but definitely not at night.

the shoes are aesthetically good-looking, but are not very comfortable when it comes to other shoe models. Overall pleased

Probably the most cumfy trainers I’ve found in 15 years. Lovley and squashy. Look good too, zero complaints.

They do run a half size big as a lot of others had mentioned. That actually suits me with thicker socks in this cooler time of year. Very nice trainer.

Not comfortable, for the money it cost is not worth.

Only worn once, as yet, but they are very comfortable and provide good support
