What are the dimensions of this cake?
The round cake measures approximately 8.5cm high and 20cm across. As each one is hand decorated, the exact dimensions may vary slightly.
Does this cake contain any allergens I should know about?
This cake contains milk, egg, wheat (gluten) and soya. It is not suitable for nut or peanut allergy sufferers, and it is suitable for vegetarians.
What is inside the cake when you cut into it?
Three layers of Madeira sponge sit inside our cake, sandwiched with vanilla buttercream and raspberry jam. The raspberry jam makes up 7% of the cake.
How should I store this cake before the party?
Store the cake in a cool, dry place, then keep it in an airtight container once opened. It has a minimum of five days' life from receipt.
Can I add my own message to the top of it?
Your chosen message is piped onto the plaque on top.

golden Wedding Celebration cake.
The cake looked very good, but it was far too sweet for us. The sponge was ok but the frosting was excessively sweet. we were very disappointed. Almost 2.3 of the cake was left untouched. Wouldn’t recommend it to friends. I’m very sorry to say this !

We had a small 23 person destination wedding in Inverness and we decided to use one of these beautiful M&S cakes for our wedding cake. It was absolutely delicious and saved us so much money compared to ordering a specialty wedding cake. For us, we couldn't justify splurging on a wedding cake because most people don't even try it, and it tends to be an afterthought during the reception. M&S did not disappoint and I would highly recommend!

I make my own cakes and am hard to please. I ordered this cake to take on holiday with us for our Daughters Birthday as I didn’t have time to make one. I refrigerated it overnight before travelling by car with it in a cool bag. It travelled well, was a beautiful moist cake and believe me, I’m hard to please. I sprayed it with gold cake glitter for more effect. It was fabulous and lasted 6 days . Just kept it in a cool place . Would definitely order again.
