For me this is a super product and I have enjoyed using this waterproof Gore-tex model for 2 decades. I wear the wide fit now (which used to be the standard fit until the last changed). They have never let me down and they are perfect if you have a large breed dog and walk on wet grass or through forests. I was also super happy to see some brighter colours available again too.

The shoelace loops on the shoe keep ripping. Which gives you no place for your shoelace to go through. The overall shoe holds up great, the shoe tread is still holding exceptionally well. The major defect with this shoe, is the lace loops. Once a loop rip’s the shoe becomes useless.

Great support, but I found them to be a bit stiff and not enough cushioning. These will be great on the trail. I was looking for more of an all around shoe for everything from flat surfaces to light trail, so I sent them back, which was easy, of course, for members.

I got these as a warranty claim for a different pair of Solomon’s. Theses are a great pair of trail shoes with a great combo of comfort and support with great tread. The pair they replaced were just as comfortable but had a stitching issue. The warranty dept was amazing and gave me a credit to get another pair of my choosing. The only thing better than Solomon shoes is their support and warranty.
