Maxi Skirts at M&S

Swish your way through the day in one of our flowing women’s maxi skirts, an appealing trio of comfort, movement and elegance. Whether you’re here for the crisp pleats, bohemian florals or soft jersey designs, our edit of long skirts includes easy-wearing pieces that suit warm weather and transitional dressing alike. Expect details like elasticated waists, tiered panels and lightweight textures to keep you feeling breezy and looking put-together.

We have so many ladies’ maxi skirts to choose from. Team a cotton-rich piece with one of our women’s tops – perhaps a slouchy T-shirt, a cool cami or a button-through blouse – for a relaxed daytime vibe. Keen to dress things up? Add your favourite high-heel shoes and a statement clutch. Need to accessorise further? Women’s maxi skirts in soft creams and sandy neutrals work especially well with gold accents from our women’s jewellery edit, while bold patterns pair beautifully with minimal accessories.

On cooler days, tuck a fitted knit from our women’s jumper collection into your women’s maxi skirt. If you’ll be needing to adjust your temperature, layer with one of our refined women’s cardigans.

Our wider skirt edit includes other versatile lengths too – try a mini skirt in denim or faux leather for a youthful, off-duty look, or browse our knee-length skirts for polished everyday wear. A satin slip or cotton pencil from our edits of black skirts and white skirts makes a timeless choice for work or play. If you love the ankle-grazing silhouette, don’t miss our full selection of maxi dresses for easy one-piece styling.
