Checked Skirts at M&S

Plaid, gingham and tartan patterns all feature in our collection of women’s checked skirts. As these prints come in subtle or vibrant colours, you can go understated or bold with your women’s skirts. We have options from brands such as Albaray and FatFace for casual, work and party outfitting.

Flared gingham skirts have a breezy and relaxed feel. Explore women’s midi skirts or A-line skirts for women with small checks in contrasting black and white or fresh green and cream. Soft cotton or linen fabrics are on hand to keep you cool on warm days. Details including deep side pockets, dropped waists and wide hems make sure these are comfortable and stylish options.

Want an extra splash of brightness? Opt for ladies’ checked skirts with big plaid prints in eye-catching shades from red to purple. Maxi styles with stretchy waists and ruffled hems get you holiday-ready in a flash. Reach for smocked or broderie women’s tops in plain white to complement a high-volume tiered skirt.

When you’re dressing for the office, a pencil skirt featuring a houndstooth pattern or Prince of Wales checks adds interest to your look. Pair yours with neatly tailored shirts and blouses for women, or choose women’s T-shirts crafted from drapey fabrics. One of our wide belts for women in supple leather is an easy way to define your waist – select a colour that picks out shades from your skirt’s print. A pair of kitten-heeled sandals from our selection of women’s shoes completes the look.
